PRONG, STATIC-X Members To Guest On New SKUMLOVE Album
March 6, 2009Tommy Victor (PRONG, MINISTRY),Tony Campos (STATIC-X, ASESINO) and Kristen Randell (WINDS OF PLAGUE) are among the musicians that are expected to make guest appearances on the forthcoming second album from the Los Angeles-based industrial rock quartet act SKUMLOVE. The follow-up to "Songs of Lust and Corrosion" (released via Canada's Misfortune Records),"The Church of Sin" will take the group to the next level by shwocasing a "harder, heavier and darker" approach than its predecessor.
"I think we will turn heads with this album," stated vocalist Skum. "This album is like taking MINISTRY, KILLING JOKE, MÖTLEY CRÜE and PRONG and throwing it in a blender."
He added, "I've been working on and off with DANZIG and have become closer friends with Tommy Victor and I decided to approach him with a song and he turned out a masterpiece in less than an hour. The guy just has so many songs in him and he is truly one of metal's greatest guitarists and songwriters."
